Melissa Davis is the Treasurer of Building Men and Women for a Change, where she combines her financial acumen with a lifelong passion for community service. A proud lifelong resident of Hibbing, Minnesota, Melissa is deeply committed to making a positive impact in the place she calls home. With over two decades of experience in healthcare, Melissa has dedicated her career to helping others—especially those navigating mental health and behavioral challenges. She currently works for the State of Minnesota as a Behavior Modification Assistant (BMA), providing critical support to individuals working toward healthier, more stable lives. Her hands-on expertise in behavior modification and mental health gives her valuable perspective on the complex needs of at-risk youth and families.
Melissa holds a degree in Medical Office Administration from Hibbing Community College, equipping her with strong organizational and administrative skills that support both BMWFC’s financial operations and its broader community programs. Her deep knowledge of healthcare, combined with her understanding of local needs, helps shape initiatives around mental health awareness, substance abuse prevention, and family support.
In addition to managing the organization’s financial responsibilities, Melissa plays an active role in event planning, partnerships, and sponsorship outreach—ensuring BMWFC continues to grow and serve the people of Hibbing with impact and integrity.
A proud mother of three, Melissa brings warmth, leadership, and a heart for service to everything she does. Her drive to create a better future for the next generation is at the core of her work with BMWFC.
