A Certified Peer Recovery Specialist in the state of Minnesota, Travis is driven by a personal mission to empower others through recovery, mentorship, and second chances.
As someone who has walked the path of recovery, Travis offers more than just guidance—he offers understanding. His journey fuels a passion for creating spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported in their efforts to rebuild their lives. He meets people where they are and helps them believe in what’s possible beyond their current circumstances.
Travis is also deeply engaged in the broader community. Through his work with Recovery Alliance Duluth, he’s helped countless individuals access recovery resources and support systems. His volunteer efforts with Youth for Christ and his role in revitalizing spaces like The Do You! Night Club highlight his commitment to building inclusive, healing environments where transformation can thrive.
At BMWFC, Travis plays a key role in developing recovery-based initiatives that go beyond addressing substance use—they build a culture of education, resilience, and long-term support. His focus on mentorship, youth outreach, and community collaboration aligns perfectly with BMWFC’s mission to shift the culture in Hibbing and surrounding areas.
Travis is also committed to personal growth and lifelong learning. He earned his Adult Diploma through Duluth Adult Education and ISD709, and continues to be a role model for those striving to overcome adversity. His story is a testament to BMWFC’s core values: resilience, transformation, and empowerment.
